AWARDS

The Secondary Professional School obtained several awards. To name a few, it was

„The Talent of the Olomouc Region“ in 2009 and 2008
„The Town of Šumperk Award 2008“ for the Club of young foresters and gamekeepers
„The Town of Šumperk Award 2006“ for the project Hobby
„The Town of Šumperk Award 2005“ for achievements in the field of environmental protection
The Board of Examiners special award for community project „Health and Environment Award 2005“ by the Business Leaders Forum

The school also received another credit  „School of Sustainable Growth of the First Degree“.
Moreover, it was given statuses  „Academic Training School of MZLU Brno“ and „Green School of the Olomouc Region“.
In 2006 the school participated in international research „PISA 2006“ and was certified for its activities.

The school is a member of The Czech Association of Hotels and Restaurants and it is also included in a permanent educational foundation of the MZE department.

In the school year 2010/11 the school magazine was evaluated as the third most inspiring in the nationwide student competition, several students were the best in language or knowledge contests, e. g. The Spring of Europe 2010,  English Language Competition, The world belongs to us – the best tourist guide. 

Mrg I. Jonová was proclaimed „The School Teacher of the Olomouc Region“ which is the award for the teacher´s high-quality work.
