Graduate´s profile

A successful graduate is a person that

  1. using common techniques is able to assess the quality of a certain area with respect to the farm animals and plants
  2. is prepared to collect and analyze meteorological data and consequently employ appropriate agriculture techniques
  3. can classify soil, determine its characteristics and use the knowledge in farming
  4. applies crop station programs, the principles of sowing and fertilization
  5. uses his/her knowledge to improve the quality of the environment
  6. understands the basics of rural tourism
  7. can offer/successfully promote bioproducts
  8. respects the principles of farm animal maintenance, pays attention to all the necesary farming procedures 
  9. takes proper care of farming machines and equipment, is able to manipulate them safely, provides or arranges for their maintenance and repairs, runs them economically keeping the level of pollution as low as possible
  10. has got a driving licence (T, B, C)

  1. agriculture technologist
  2. private farmer
  3. consultant for organizations or businessman engaged in agriculture (after a few years of work experience)
  4. participation in processing and distribution of agriculture products
  5. employed in services for the countryside development
  6. consultant for the environmental protection and landscape design
