Nowadays, the classrooms are equipped with modern didactic devices, projectors, smart boards and computers with the internet access. Copy machines for students are also available. In the basement of the building there is a kitchen, used for students´practical training, and a small dining area, where students practise cooking, serving food and where various courses are held, such as those for young bartenders or sommeliers.

Students can also use a spacious gymnasium, a small body-building centre, a little table tennis hall, a new climbing wall, open-air grassy and tarmac playgrounds. There is also a school arboretum where students work during their practical training or relax in their free time. All the area is open to the public as well.

The school provides accommodation for 144 students and meals in the school dining hall.
At the beginning the school year each student is assigned a locker to leave his/her coat and shoes in upon arrival every morning.

In the school building there is a small picture gallery, which with the integral modification of the information system contributes to the school aesthetic value. Students can borrow books in a library and in the course of the day sit in a few relaxation areas during the breaks. The school canteen opens daily so snacks are available.

Tourism   
62 – 42 – M/02

The main objective of the four-year educational course is to provide a high-level training program in the field of business and management in travelling, tourism, hotel industry, gastronomy, in which foreign languages, knowledge of information technologies and  computer skills are the priorities.
The essential part of the studies are educational excursions as well as participation in various projects related to the expansion of the travel industry within and outside the region. The students can obtain work experience in top-quality centres both in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The students graduate from the secondary school with coherent knowledge and skills, able to communicate in two foreign languages and take advantage of modern information technologies. They also have practical knowledge of economics, law, business, marketing, accounting and social culture.

Environmental studies
16 – 01 – M/01

This subject has been taught at the secondary professional school since 1998. More than seventy-five percent of the school graduates continue to study at universities.
The educational program incorporates theoretical and practical knowledge, that is why the students take part in various projects, the most important of which is the building and maintenance of the multifunctional school arboretum in cooperation with Foundation „Partnership“ in the community project The Tree of Life.
Other tasks are performed in the Club of Ecology Education (UNDP project, the UNESCO field studies, art and literary contest of the Green Gross, the EU and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports project).

Significant subjects that cooperate with the school is SEK Vila Doris (local educational centre), LESY ČR (the Czech Forest Industry), ČSOP (Organization of Environmental Protection in the Czech Republic), the Boards of Protected Landscape Areas Jeseníky and Litovelské Pomoraví. Thanks to these and also other partners and sponsors the school succeeds in creating inspiring environment and valuable conditions for further development of the students.

Business in agriculture
41 – 41 – M/01

The main objective of the subject is to teach students to understand the current countryside, its problems and the ways it works. The four-year educational training program is flexible and continually shaped up in response to the development within the Czech Republic and the EU.
The students acquire knowledge of both conventional and alternative methods in agricultural economy. We understand that the countryside does not only mean hard work but can also be an oasis for relaxation, the place where people can gain new energy, enjoy the peace and quiet, meditate and find answers to their questions.

The school graduates have always been high-quality specialists in agriculture. Neat, healthy lifestyle in the country – this is what our everyday work should result in.

Public administration
68 – 43 – M/01

The subject is focused on the activities performed by the state in the process of implementing the  government policies via state and autonomy bodies.

The aim of the five-year distance course is to provide basic knowledge and skills, to teach how to apply and clarify the laws followed by rules and regulations, general as well as specific, related to the school subject. Both the theoretical and practical aspects of various issues are studied, and a few weeks´ work experience mainly in the offices of municipal authorities is part of the school curriculum.

Having passed the school leaving examination, the graduate can work as an official in public administration, he/she is able to apply legal standards and regulations, carry out various administrative procedures.
